Happy Salt is a stress-free personal chef business servicing the Calgary area, owned and operated by Chef Troy Fleischhaker. Troy is a Red Seal chef who has worked around the world, from Australia to Scotland to the set of the legendary television series Survivor, and these experiences help him to create unique, thoughtful, and innovative meals for his clients and their individual dietary needs. Fresh and healthy restaurant-quality meals are prepared right in your own home, taking the pressure off to allow you to focus on your daily commitments.

HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE:
Chef Troy will visit your home for a free consultation to determine a food plan for the family and each individual's dietary requirements.
STEP TWO:
Troy will send you a customized menu for your review. The family will discuss and then email back with any changes that may be required. The amount of food needed for the week will be determined by your family's needs.
STEP THREE:
Troy will provide a final copy of the menu, complete with a shopping list, once it has been established. The shopping list contains a complete list of all the ingredients and quantities required for that week's menu. It is the client's responsibility to purchase the list to be ready for Chef Troy's arrival later that week.
STEP FOUR:
Troy and the client decide on a time and day that are convenient for them both for that particular week. Troy arrives, preps, cooks, cools, labels with reheat instructions, and puts everything back in order with a thorough clean-up.
MEET CHEF TROY
Chef Troy has been fortunate to travel to incredible destinations working with Mark Barnett Television Productions as head chef for the CBS Television Network's highly successful "Survivor" series. Troy incorporates his passion for foreign experiences into creating unique and innovative menus for his Happy Salt clients.
In 2018, Chef Troy launched his concept, Cruz Tacos, in Calgary, where he gained recognition in Air Canada’s Enroute magazine “Top 30 Restaurants in Canada”.
